The Lagos metropolitan area implemented significant transportation adjustments in February. The city government approved a 13% fare increase for its Bus Rapid Transit system. Concurrently, major infrastructure projects commenced, leading to substantial traffic disruptions. The Lagos–Abeokuta Expressway will undergo partial closures for four weeks to facilitate repairs. A more extensive project on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway will involve partial closures for a six-week period.
