Trump says Iran war is nearly over as ceasefire talks advance

President Donald Trump said the conflict with Iran is 'very close to over.' He made the statement as mediators reportedly moved toward extending a ceasefire.

Trump also criticized Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, accusing her of lacking the 'courage' to back the war effort. In response, the Spanish newspaper Vox defended Meloni, calling some of Trump's positions 'hard to understand.'
