White House Bars CNN from Air Force One Trip

In late September 2026, the White House barred CNN from traveling on Air Force One for President Donald Trump's trip to Tennessee. CNN had been set to represent the major television networks in the press pool for the trip.

The network said it was excluded as the White House put a new media restriction in place. The trip was to Tennessee, with the president departing from Washington.
