Russia offers to supply China with energy if Middle East conflict disrupts oil

Russia says it is ready to compensate for any energy shortfalls China may face due to the conflict in the Middle East. The offer comes ahead of a planned visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin and as the US naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz threatens to disrupt oil shipments from Iran.
