Novartis to acquire UK biotech Myricx Bio for up to $1.5 billion

Novartis has agreed to acquire Myricx Bio, a UK-based biotech company specializing in cancer medicines. The deal is valued at up to $1.5 billion. Myricx Bio investor Sofinnova Partners announced the acquisition. The purchase adds a British start-up focused on cancer drugs to Novartis.
