Xi Jinping Arrives in India for BRICS Summit

Chinese President Xi Jinping is traveling to India for the 18th BRICS Summit, where he is expected to hold a bilateral meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ahead of the visit, China said it will "properly handle differences" with India. Iran's foreign minister and a South African journalist praised India's leadership of the summit. Separately, Indian Congress leader Harish Rawat resigned from his party posts after the Enforcement Directorate recovered cash and gold from his personal assistant.
