Kosovo Ex-President Thaci Sentenced to 25 Years for War Crimes

A special tribunal in The Hague sentenced former Kosovo president Hashim Thaci to 25 years in prison on war crimes charges. The court found him responsible for crimes committed by the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic commented on the verdict, calling Kosovo the hardest issue of his career and describing the past two years as among his most difficult, which he attributed to what he called a "colored revolution."
