South Korea Warns Ukraine Over North Korean Prisoners

In October 2026, South Korea's Lee warned of further action against Ukraine over the handling of North Korean soldiers taken prisoner. Seoul demanded an apology from Ukraine and said Ukraine had denied that a confidentiality agreement on the prisoners existed. Lee also acknowledged that a prisoner deal had been kept secret.
