China and Myanmar Arrest US Citizens in Separate Espionage Cases

China has arrested a US scholar and activist who studies Myanmar on suspicion of espionage. The arrest happened while he was attending a conference in China. Separately, Myanmar detained a US businessman who wrote about the country's military coup.
