India Hosts BRICS Summit in New Delhi

India is hosting the BRICS summit in New Delhi in September 2026, with leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and China's Xi Jinping attending. The UN chief is expected to emphasize multipolarity and UN Security Council reforms at the summit. Non-scheduled flights are barred within 300 km of Delhi from September 11 to 13.

Bangladesh's Prime Minister Tarique Rahman said Bangladesh was not invited to the summit. A Modi-Xi bilateral meeting is also in focus ahead of the summit.
