Summary

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky canceled his planned trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos. Reports indicate the cancellation came after a planned meeting with President Donald Trump was called off.

Zelensky publicly questioned Ukraine's potential role in a proposed 'peace council' involving Russia and Belarus, which Trump's envoys have discussed. Meanwhile, Ukraine's delegation met with security advisers from France, Germany, and the UK in Davos, and Zelensky stated he does not believe talks with the U.S. have reached a dead end.
