China-ASEAN Expo Opens in Nanning with Focus on Trade and AI

The 23rd China-ASEAN Expo opened in Nanning, in southern China's Guangxi region. The event focuses on the upgraded China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, known as CAFTA 3.0, as well as artificial intelligence and the Pinglu Canal. Vice Premier Ding called for a higher-level China-ASEAN Free Trade Area. The expo also highlights how China's AI sector is exploring new pathways into ASEAN markets.
