US President Trump told NATO to stay away from the Strait of Hormuz and rejected the alliance's offer to help, calling it 'useless' and a 'paper tiger.' The Financial Times reported that NATO's Rutte and the EU's von der Leyen were excluded from the guest list of the Hormuz summit. France ignored Rutte and von der Leyen in the matter. Trump also celebrated the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
