Trump says he will raise tariffs on EU cars to 25%

President Donald Trump said he will increase U.S. tariffs on cars and trucks imported from the European Union to 25%. He accused the EU of not complying with a previous trade deal.

The move would tear up part of an existing tariff agreement and affect vehicles like cars and lorries. Trump said the higher tariffs could take effect as soon as next week.
