Ukraine's air defense on agenda as Mette Frederiksen visits Macron

In France on 13 July 2026, Ukraine's allies gathered in Paris for a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing to step up defence aid and increase pressure on Russia. Zelensky met more than 25 leaders, and he and Macron discussed strengthening Ukraine ahead of the meeting. Ukraine's air defence was on the agenda, and Zelensky went to Paris to talk about anti-ballistic systems. Mette Frederiksen visited Macron, and the meeting took place without the United States.
