BelTA Russian · Juli 2026

• Frequent use of 'Lukashenko' as the subject of positive actions (congratulated, confirmed, set priorities)
• Direct quotes presented without distancing or skepticism, amplifying his statements as authoritative
• Focus on his leadership in domestic and international affairs, often highlighting his decisions and visits
• Neutral-to-positive framing of his activities, with no critical or evaluative language

The entity is the country 'BY' (Belarus), but headlines focus on President Lukashenko as the country's representative. The outlet (BelTA, state-owned) treats him as a credible and authoritative leader, hence positive stance toward the entity. However, the coverage is largely factual and routine, not celebratory or promotional, so +1 rather than +2. No negative or skeptical framing detected.

• Frequent use of direct quotes presenting Lukashenko as a decisive leader
• Positive framing of his actions and statements as constructive and forward-looking
• Neutral-to-positive reporting of his meetings and decisions without critical commentary

Headlines are largely factual and quote Lukashenko extensively, but the outlet's selection and framing (e.g., highlighting his praise, plans, and achievements) suggests a favorable stance. Some headlines include his criticism of subordinates, but this does not reflect negatively on him; rather, it reinforces his authority.

• Uses neutral verbs like 'заявил' (stated) for US officials, without distancing or evaluative adjectives
• Frames US military actions as factual announcements (e.g., 'начало очередной волны ударов') without condemnation
• Includes positive references from Belarusian leader Lukashenko thanking Trump, which may subtly align with US
• Reports US-Iran conflict as a series of events, not taking a side

The outlet is state-owned Belarusian media, which may have geopolitical alignment with Russia, but the headlines themselves are largely neutral toward the US as an entity. Some headlines (e.g., #6, #18) include positive statements from Lukashenko about Trump, which could imply a favorable stance, but these are attributed quotes, not the outlet's own voice. The US is often the subject of actions (strikes, negotiations) reported without explicit editorial judgment, so stance is neutral overall.
