International

Pakistan engaged in diplomatic and economic outreach to Central Asia, with a focus on expanding trade ties. Talks were held with regional nations to significantly increase trade volumes, including specific aims to boost trade with Uzbekistan to $2 billion and with Kazakhstan to $1 billion. Separately, Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokaymet with Pakistan's Prime Minister to discuss cooperation in trade, logistics, and energy. In a parallel development, Croatia's ambassador to Kazakhstan discussed growing bilateral ties and the potential for establishing direct flights.

Within the region, Kazakhstan also maintained parliamentary-level engagement with Belarus. A delegation of Kazakh lawmakers visited the Belarusian industrial manufacturer BelAZ, touring the facilities of the company known for producing large mining trucks.
