China executed 11 gang members who were involved in telecom fraud operations in northern Myanmar. The gangs were accused of luring people, including Kenyans, to scam compounds in Myanmar to carry out the fraud. Separately, thousands of people in Myanmar marched in pro-democracy protests, and some protesters have died in prison.
