Paris prosecutor's office updates on major investigations including Louvre heist and kidnapping

The Paris prosecutor's office has provided updates on several major criminal cases. This includes an investigation into a high-profile heist at the Louvre museum three months ago, as well as the indictment of four more people in connection with the kidnapping of a wealthy Uzbek banker last June.

In a separate incident, police were mobilized in Paris's 16th arrondissement for a standoff with a young man who barricaded himself in his home with weapons, threatening suicide. Additionally, a Paris police officer was convicted for firing non-regulation rubber bullet launchers.
