Sudan's RSF paramilitary group faces sanctions and is accused of deadly attacks

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary group in Sudan, has been accused of carrying out deadly attacks on civilians. The U.S. imposed sanctions on three of its leaders for their actions in the city of El Fasher.

Separate RSF drone strikes reportedly killed one person in Kurmuk and killed three people at a hospital in Sennar state. The Sudanese army says it targeted RSF positions in South Darfur in response.
