Bangladesh opposition party BNP wins landmark election

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has won the country's landmark general election. Vote counting showed the BNP leading, and the party has claimed victory in what is described as the first vote since mass protests led to the ouster of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
