Etihad Rail Launches First Dubai-Abu Dhabi Passenger Service

Etihad Rail began operating its first passenger train service between Dubai and Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. The service runs 10 daily journeys connecting Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Fujairah. Premium tickets for the inaugural Dubai-Abu Dhabi trips sold out, and a new Etihad Rail station in Dubai opened ahead of the launch. The rail link is part of Abu Dhabi's broader 15-minute city plans.
