Japanese car companies expand partnerships and production in Vietnam

Japanese automakers Nissan and Honda are making significant moves in Vietnam. Nissan is partnering with Uber on self-driving technology and is also sending some of its smaller suppliers to Vietnam to seek new growth opportunities.

Honda is marking its 30th anniversary in Vietnam with a special edition of Spider-Man motorcycles. This comes as Nissan's suppliers look to Vietnam for expansion, indicating a broader focus on the Southeast Asian market by Japanese automotive firms.
