Israel strikes targets in Lebanon and says disarming Hezbollah is difficult

The Israeli military conducted strikes in southern and eastern Lebanon, destroying a bridge and claiming to have killed Hezbollah militants and seized weapons. Israeli officials stated that disarming Hezbollah would be unrealistic without a full-scale invasion of Lebanon and that the responsibility for doing so ultimately lies with Lebanon itself. The IDF reported it is nearing completion of a key phase in its southern Lebanon operation.
