Iran strikes US military bases in Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait

On July 14, 2026, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched missile strikes against US military facilities in Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait. The attacks targeted the US Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain, a Patriot radar system in Bahrain, and an air base in Jordan, as well as facilities in Kuwait. In a separate incident, Iran also fired missiles at two oil tankers belonging to the United Arab Emirates. The US responded by launching a third night of strikes on Iran. Additionally, three individuals were sentenced to life imprisonment in Bahrain on charges of spying for Iran.
