Trump tells Norway's prime minister he no longer feels bound to pursue peace after Nobel snub

Donald Trump sent a letter to Norway's prime minister stating he no longer feels an obligation to 'think purely of peace' after not receiving the Nobel Peace Prize. The letter was sent after Norway, along with Germany and Sweden, declined to participate in a proposed 'Board of Peace' initiative from Trump.

In response, Norwegian politicians called the idea of giving Trump the Nobel Peace Prize 'absurd.' Trump also publicly stated he no longer cares about winning the award, reversing his previous, long-standing interest in it.
