Italian defense minister apologizes for Dubai trip during Middle East tensions

Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto apologized for taking a personal trip to Dubai with his children as tensions escalated in the Middle East. He stated he was there on vacation without security detail and will pay triple the cost for his state flight back. Opposition politicians criticized the timing and called for his resignation.
