Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gave several interviews, stating that Russian President Vladimir Putin has already started a third world war. He argued that making territorial concessions to Russia would only satisfy Putin temporarily and rejected the idea of ceding land.
Zelensky also responded to political criticism, including from former commander-in-chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi, and addressed international politics. He said he is ready for a meeting with Putin, while a Russian official questioned whether Zelensky is worthy of such a meeting. Separately, Zelensky criticized Hungary for blocking a new EU financial aid package for Ukraine.
