International Aid and Rescue Efforts Ramp Up in Nepal After Deadly Floods

Following devastating flash floods and mudslides in Nepal, international rescue and aid efforts are underway. China has sent a second batch of humanitarian supplies aboard a Y-20 aircraft, along with five experts to assist in rescue operations, including at a mudslide-hit tunnel. South Korea has dispatched a disaster relief team and is working to identify bodies found at a hydropower plant, while India is helping to identify flood victims as Nepal buries unclaimed bodies. Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi held a phone call with Nepal's prime minister to request cooperation in rescuing missing Japanese nationals.
