Thousands of protesters expected in London for Unite the Kingdom and pro-Palestine rallies

In London on 16 May 2026, tens of thousands of people marched in two separate protests: an anti-immigration rally, Unite the Kingdom, with backers of Tommy Robinson, and a pro-Palestine march marking Nakba Day. Police were out in heavy numbers, and ABC News wrote that the pro-Palestine march came face-to-face with the anti-immigration protest.

Separately, The Telegraph reported that a pro-Palestine supporter threatened to 'behead Jews one by one' in east London.
