China celebrates Spring Festival with lantern fairs and record travel

China celebrated the Spring Festival and Lantern Festival with traditional lantern fairs that incorporated modern technology. During the holiday period, Chinese travelers made a record number of trips across the country. Celebrations also extended internationally, including in Canada.
