Several European countries send warships to Cyprus after drone attack

Several European countries, including Spain, Italy, France, and the Netherlands, are sending warships and military assets to Cyprus. This follows a drone attack on a UK military base on the island, which is located in the eastern Mediterranean.

Spain is sending a frigate, Italy is sending naval reinforcements and missile defense systems, and France has already arrived. A planned Royal Navy destroyer deployment from the UK has been delayed due to maintenance work.
