Afghan forces fire at Pakistani aircraft over Kabul as border clashes intensify

Loud explosions and gunfire were heard in Kabul after Afghan forces opened fire on Pakistani aircraft. The Taliban government in Afghanistan said it was targeting Pakistani jets and claimed to have repelled strikes.

Afghanistan accused Pakistan of carrying out air attacks in Kabul and Kandahar. Pakistan's state media said its military operation would continue until Afghanistan provided guarantees to stop supporting terrorists.
