Trump threatens Iran over Flydubai flight incident

In October 2026, US President Donald Trump said Iran would be hit "very hard" if it is found to be linked to the Flydubai flight incident. The flight to Israel was diverted after a copilot tried to crash the plane. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the copilot received "Islamist indoctrination". Trump also spoke of possible links between the copilot and Iran.
