Rivers lawmakers move to impeach governor despite court order

The Rivers State Assembly is moving forward with impeachment proceedings against Governor Fubara and Deputy Governor Odu. This comes despite a court order barring the Chief Justice from acting on the Assembly's impeachment directive. Several lawmakers who initially opposed the move have now reversed their position and are supporting the impeachment.
