Azerbaijan blames Iran for drone attack and promises to respond

Azerbaijan says a drone attack on one of its airports was carried out by neighboring Iran. The country's president, Ilham Aliyev, called the strikes 'terrorist' acts and vowed a retaliatory response, putting the military on high alert.

Aliyev recalled a previous attack on Azerbaijan's embassy in Iran in 2023. He stated that any future attacks 'will face our Iron Fist' as tensions between the two countries escalate.
