Tokyo introduces smart trash cans and conducts traffic safety checks

Tokyo is introducing smart trash cans in the Akihabara district. These cans are designed to compact trash and notify collection services when they are full.

Separately, Tokyo police are conducting roadside checks on mopeds to try to reduce traffic violations and accidents. In another incident, a man driving a Lamborghini fled the scene after a crash on the Tsukiji Bridge that injured six people, including police officers.
