European countries struggle to reduce reliance on Russian oil

Several European countries are facing challenges in moving away from Russian oil, despite sanctions and bans. The UK has been accused of flouting its own ban on Russian oil imports. Meanwhile, Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban rejected an opposition plan to abandon Russian oil and gas.

Separately, a tanker carrying Russian oil products lost steering off the coast of Spain, and a Russian oil company refused to give up control of exports from Venezuela.
