China announces new security measures for drones, data, and public events

Chinese authorities have announced a series of new security and safety measures. The Ministry of Public Security released cases of illegal drone flights near military areas, and a new security guide was issued for transferring data from cars across borders.

Separately, the government is deploying drones, underwater cameras, and AI to monitor wetlands. It is also conducting safety checks ahead of the Spring Festival holiday. In another development, an adviser mentioned that extra forces, drones, and CCTV would be used to guard polling centers considered to be high-risk.
