Ukrainian President Zelenskyy makes several statements on war and politics

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made several public statements covering different topics. He suggested that Western countries should expel Russian citizens and their relatives living abroad. He also commented on the dismissal of his chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, and met with the Prime Minister of North Macedonia.

Separately, Zelenskyy was reported to be considering the possibility of giving up the eastern part of the Donetsk region, an area that has seen heavy fighting since 2014.
