Russia says Ukraine attacked Bryansk to disrupt peace talks

Russia has accused Ukraine of carrying out an attack on the Russian border region of Bryansk. Russian officials, including Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov and the Foreign Ministry, said the strike was specifically aimed at disrupting a potential negotiation process over the war.

Russia's embassy in London also claimed British military personnel were involved in the attack, stating the 'blood of Bryansk residents' was on their hands. The Foreign Ministry suggested the timing of the attack coincided with diplomatic signals from the United States about a settlement.
