EU offers Ukraine funds to repair damaged Druzhba oil pipeline

The European Union is sending experts to Ukraine to assess damage to the Druzhba oil pipeline and has offered funds to help with repairs. Ukraine has accepted the EU's support offer.

Meanwhile, Hungary has given Ukraine a three-day deadline to restore oil transit through the pipeline and claims Kyiv has refused to hold talks, deepening a dispute between the two countries over the conduit, which carries Russian oil.
