Iranian interior minister visits Pakistan for security talks

Iranian Interior Minister arrived in Islamabad on July 21, 2026, for high-level meetings with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Defence Forces General Munir. The two sides pledged joint efforts for regional peace during their talks. The visit also included a welcome at the Islamabad police headquarters and participation in an ECO meeting. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral security cooperation.
