Turkish President Erdogan discusses Syria with Trump, French, and Syrian officials

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump where they discussed the situations in Syria and Gaza, with Erdoğan stressing the importance of a ceasefire in Syria. Separately, Erdoğan also held talks with Syrian official Farouk al-Sharaa and French officials about Syria's future, pledging that Turkey's support for Syria would continue amid shifting U.S. policy.
