Israel and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah have agreed to a ceasefire, ending weeks of intense fighting. The deal came after four Israeli soldiers were killed in southern Lebanon, prompting Israel to strike dozens of Hezbollah targets across the country.
Israeli minister Ben-Gvir said "all of Lebanon must burn" following the soldiers' deaths, while Hezbollah leader Nasrallah reportedly came aboveground for the first time in years. Lebanon's state media reported 16 people killed by Israeli strikes during the conflict.
