UK regulators investigate Meta over WhatsApp data and gambling ads

Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, is facing two separate investigations from UK regulators. One is looking into whether WhatsApp is properly handling data requests from law enforcement. At the same time, the UK Gambling Commission has accused Meta of 'turning a blind eye' to illegal gambling advertisements on its platforms.
