Russia blames Ukraine for attack on gas tanker in Mediterranean

A Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) tanker was attacked and sank in the Mediterranean Sea. Russian officials, including President Vladimir Putin, have blamed Ukrainian sea drones for the incident, calling it a 'terrorist act'.

Putin also claimed that Russian intelligence services have information suggesting Ukraine is planning to sabotage gas pipelines in the Black Sea. Ukraine has not publicly claimed responsibility for the tanker attack.
