Russia reaffirms support for Venezuela and denies a vice president is there

Russian officials have made several statements about Venezuela. They said Russia and Venezuela maintain a strategic partnership and that the situation in the country is stable. Separately, the Kremlin said Putin spoke with Brazil's President Lula about Venezuela, and Russia denied that a Venezuelan vice president is currently in Russia.
