Ukrainian skeleton athlete banned from Olympics for wearing memorial helmet

A Ukrainian skeleton athlete has been banned from competing in the Olympic Games because of images on his helmet. The helmet honors Ukrainian soldiers who have been killed in the war with Russia.

The athlete, Vladyslav Heraskevych, has appealed the ban to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. He has said he is willing to be disqualified and will continue to wear the helmet.
