Philippine lawmakers dismiss impeachment complaints against President Marcos

A panel in the Philippine House of Representatives has dismissed multiple impeachment complaints filed against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. The complaints were declared insufficient in substance.

Separately, lawmakers have received formal notice of an impeachment hearing against Vice President Sara Duterte. Complaints against her have been sent to the House justice panel for proceedings, though the National Unity Party has indicated it is unlikely to support her impeachment.
